The AWS Mobile Section presented Darrius Booker and Azaiah Presley with scholarships tonight to help them further their education at Reid State in the Welding Technology Program. I'm proud of these two young men for their dedication to continue traveling with me and other students to these meetings in Mobile. I had other students to accompany me tonight and they found it to be very beneficial. By attending, they get to network with other industry leaders and find out what's new in the welding world so that they will at least have a start of contacts once they finish school. The American Welding Society is a great way to jumpstart your career in welding. |
