The faculty believes that to fully develop the capability of the individual student, we must improve their ability to think creatively, make decisions, solve problems, visualize concepts, and respond to challenging situations in a professional and reasonable manner. Applicants to this program must complete the application procedures. Additionally, applicants must present official documentation of a high school diploma, in accordance with State Board policy, or GED.


Program Certification
Computer Information Systems (CIS) is a Pearson VE (Virtual University Enterprises) Testing Center which provides on-site, on-demand testing for industry standard Information Technology (IT) certifications and other select professional licensure.  CIS currently offers a variety of courses that can lead to industry certifications such as CompTIA’s A+, Network +, and Security +.  Classes can also lead to several Microsoft certifications that include Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified System Administrator of Windows Server 2003, and Microsoft Office Specialist.
