Rebecca Bledsoe has been teaching full time at Reid State in the Office Administration Department since 2000. In 1994 she began as an adjunct instructor in the evening program while working for Conecuh County Board of Education during the day. She attended Troy State University after graduating from Evergreen High School but postponed her education to get married and raise three boys. She later graduated from Faulkner University with a BBA and MSM, and continued her education at AUM and Athens State University.


Coretta Boykin graduated from Hillcrest High School in May of 1998 and pursued her Bachelor's degree from the University of Alabama during that upcoming fall. She graduated from U of A in May of 2002 and received a Bachelor's degree in Business and Commerce Administration with a concentration in Economics. She obtained a Masters in Business Administration from Troy State University in the spring of 2006. She has been employed with Reid State Technical College since 2003 where she began her career here as an Adult Education Instructor. As as Adult Ed Instructor, she was recognized as Reid State 2005 Chancellor Award nominee and the 2006 Master Teacher. She currently instructs in the Office System Technology Program.


Dr. Shirley Brackin, Ed.D.,MSN,BSN,RN is the Health Careers and Human Services Division Chair at Reid State Technical College. She has been employed full-time at Reid State since 1989 and has held the division chair's position since spring 2000. Dr.Brackin's educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction: Education Management from the University of West Florida, a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Troy State University, and a registered nursing degree from St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Birmingham.


Janice W. Chapmen, MSN, BSN, RN., has been employed at Reid State Technical College since 1981. She is the site coordinator for the Atmore Nursing Department. She received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from The University of Mobile and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Her honors and recognition include Alpha Theta Chi Collegiate Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society, University of Mobile - The Area Award of Excellence in Nursing Education, University of Mobile Honor graduate with Academic Distinction, Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges, Department of Postsecondary Education Chancellor Award nominee - 1995, and The Alabama College System 2007 Master Teacher Award.


John Culliver has been employed at Reid State Technical College as the full-time Collision Repair Instructor since 1996. He received a Diploma in Collision Repair from Reid State and an Associate of Science Degree from Jefferson Davis Community College.


Jason Davidson is a native of Flomaton, Alabama and a graduate of Flomaton High. He attended Escambia-Brewton Area Vocation Center from 1995 to 1997 were he received a two year Automotive Technology Certification. In 2001 Jason received an Associate in Applied Technology in Industrial Electronics/Electricity from Reid State Technical College. He became a Certified Craft Instructor in Electrical, Electronic Systems, Instrumentation, and Industrial Maintenance Electrical/Instrumentation Systems for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) program in 2007. He is currently continuing his education through Athens State University.



Jamila Grace, MSN, RN., has been employed at Reid State Technical College as a practical nursing instructor since August of 2007. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Auburn University Montgomery and a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from The University of Alabama. Jamila has seven years of emergency nursing experience.





Roslana D. Gray, RN, graduated Reid State Technical College in 1994 with a diploma in Practical Nursing. She received an Associate Degree from Alabama Southern Community College in 1998.She is currently seeking her RN-MSN Degree from Regis University. Roslana has thirteen years of nursing experience.


Angelia Harrison is a native of Monroeville, Alabama and a graduate of Monroe County High School. She received an Associate of Arts Degree from Alabama Southern Community College in Monroeville in 1986. Ms. Harrison continued her education at Auburn University in Montgomery where she majored in Secondary Mathematics Education. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from AUM in 1988. She also received a Maser of Education Degree from the University of West Alabama in Livingston in 1992. Ms. Harrison taught mathematics for one year at Monroe Senior High and has been employed at Reid State Technical College since 1990. She received the Master Teacher award from RSTC and was also a Chancellor's Award Nominee for Outstanding Technical College Faculty in 1999.

Dr. Beverly Hugener resides in Monroeville, Alabama and is a graduate of Foley High School. She attended Faulkner State Community College and Troy State University to receive a B.S. degree in Social Services, and an M.S. from Troy State in Counseling, an M.A. in Education from the University of Mobile, and did post grad work at Chapman College in Monterey, California. She received a Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership, Policy and Law from Alabama State University. She has 12 years teaching experience, is married, and has three children. She is program advisor and main instructor for Early Child Care Education.





Eula Jackson received a Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma from Reid State Technical College in 1990 and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Alabama Southern Community College in 1998. She also received an Associate in Applied Science from Alabama Southern Community College in 1999. In 2000 Ms. Jackson received a Bachelor of Science in Human Management from Faulkner University. She continued her education and in 2001 received a Master of Science in Nursing/Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. In 2007 Ms. Jackson received a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Education from the University of Phoenix.



Shirley Johnson has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1986.She received her cosmetology training and instructor training from Reid State Technical College. She received advanced cosmetology training from Dudley Cosmetology University. Ms. Johnson received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education from Athens State University. She has been employed with Reid State since 1996.


Daphne Joyner received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Auburn University Montgomery in 1996. She worked for an environmental company for two years and decided to return to school. She received an alternative Master of Science Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Biology from Auburn University Montgomery. She taught biology at Escambia County High School in Atmore, AL for one year and then moved to Northview High School in Walnut Hill, Fl where she taught Biology and Environmental Science for three years.






















Kyle Null has been employed at Reid state since 2001. He is a native of Demopolis, Alabama and a 1991 graduate of Demopolis High school. He received an Associate in Applied Technology for Industrial Electronics/Electricity from Reid State Technical College in 2001. He also received an Associate in Applied Technology for Computer Information Systems from Reid State Technical College in 2004. Mr. Null became a Certified Craft Instructor in (Electrical, Electronic Systems, Instrumentation, and Industrial Maintenance Electrical/Instrumentation Systems) for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) program in 2007. He also became OHSA Safety Certified in 2007. Mr. Null is currently continuing his education through Athens State University.


Larry Renfroe has been employed full-time at Reid State since August 2002. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Mobile, a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University, and a Masters of Arts degree from Webster University in Computer Resources and Information Management.  While in the US Air Force he completed Air War College and Air Command and Staff College.  Additionally, while in the military, he taught part-time for numerous colleges such as University of Carolina, University of Maryland, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Troy University, Gulf Coast Community College, and Central Carolina Technical College.  Since retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel from the US Air Force, he has taught part-time for Reid State, Jefferson Davis Community College, and Alabama Southern Community College.  While he was in the military he served as a communication’s squadron commander, air traffic controller, airfield flight commander, 9th Air Force Staff officer, and in several instructor positions.  He currently serves as a part-time local pastor for two United Methodist Churches in the area. 


Tiffany Scarborough received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mobile. She was presented with the Alumni Award for graduating with the highest grade point average. She also received the Pediatric Area nursing award, the Patricia Giordano Wagner Obstetrical nursing award, and the BSN award. Mrs. Scarborough was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society as well. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of South Alabama.





Andy Sessions has been employed full time as the welding instructor at Reid State since February 1991. He received a diploma in welding from Reid State Technical College and an Associate of Science Degree from Jefferson Davis Community College.








Gerald Steege has been employed full time with Reid State College since April 1992. He was certified in February 1996 to administer third party Commercial Drivers License testing. He received his Associate of Science Degree in November 1996 from Jefferson Davis Community College in Brewton Alabama. He has been in the Trucking Industry for twenty-five years.






Mary Allyn Syler is a native of Andalusia, Alabama. She received an Associate of Science degree from Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University in Business Education and a Master of Education degree from the University of West Alabama in Business Education. She has completed post graduate work at Auburn University Montgomery. Ms. Syler began teaching at Reid State in the Office Administration Department in 1987. She became Division Chair in 2004. In 2006 Ms.Syler received the Master Teacher award and was a Chancellor's Award Nominee for Outstanding Technical College Faculty.
