RSTC Foundation: An Overview

The Reid State Technical College (RSTC) Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, plays a vital role in fostering private support for Reid State. Through the generosity of alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations, the RSTC Foundation enhances educational opportunities and supports the overall mission of the college. Since its inception in 1989, the Foundation has been a catalyst for positive change, securing resources that directly benefit the students and programs of Reid State Technical College. From funding scholarships to purchasing essential equipment, our commitment is to strengthen community ties and advance the educational development of Reid State, making education accessible and effective.

We strive to be the bridge between those willing to invest in their community and the students who benefit from that investment. Our work is driven by the values of integrity, inclusivity, collaboration, and a commitment to educational excellence.

Our Mission

The mission of the RSTC Foundation is to improve the quality of life for our community and fellow citizens. We achieve this by raising funds to enhance access to higher education, support career and technology training, and foster student learning at Reid State Technical College.

Our Vision for the Future

We envision a community where every individual has the opportunity to pursue higher education and vocational training, regardless of financial barriers. By expanding access and support, we aim to empower students to achieve their goals and contribute meaningfully to society.

RSTC Alumni Association

The Reid State Alumni Association is a vital part of our community, providing a platform for former students to stay connected, support one another, and give back to the college that helped shape their futures. Our Alumni Association fosters lifelong relationships, offering opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development.

Through the Alumni Association, graduates of Reid State can participate in events, engage with current students, and contribute to initiatives that support the college’s mission. Whether by attending reunions, volunteering, or supporting scholarships, our alumni play a crucial role in empowering the next generation of leaders and professionals.
