RSTC Student Accounts

Attention:

All students should have received emails containing instructions on how to claim their Alabama.edu accounts. These emails went to personal email addresses on file in Banner. If you did not receive these emails, please contact the IT department via email to have them resent. An email with claim instructions will be sent to the personal email you provide. 

Please provide your A Number when requesting assistance.

Alabama.edu Account

(You must claim your Alabama.edu account first)

To access your student account, click https://idp.alabama.edu/ and enter your User ID and password as follows:

USERNAME: (Example): A01234567@ALABAMA.EDU

PASSWORD: created by student when claiming account

 

Financial Aid Status

 

To check the status of your Financial Aid Click Here

On the Log in Page you will log into your account from here

a. User ID : Your email address (A# followed by @rstc.edu) Example: A01234567@rstc.edu

b. Your password: !RSTCMMDDYY (MMDDYY should be replaced by your birthdate. Example: If you were born January 3rd, 2004, the password would be !RSTC010304 not !RSTC01032004. Do not use 4 digits for the year, only the last 2.)

 

Alabama.edu Email Account

To access your new student email account, click the Student Email link below and enter your User ID and PIN as follows (You must claim your Alabama.edu account first):

Canvas Account

 

Previously, a student or faculty member may have had multiple accounts tied to institution(s) at which they had been admitted or employed. Those accounts are being replaced with a single @alabama.edu account to access most applications and systems as we move forward.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The new username (for Alabama.edu) is the A# (student/employee ID associated with their record) + “@alabama.edu”
  • If your A# (same across all institutions) is A00000000, then your Alabama.edu username is A00000000@alabama.edu
  • The username isn’t case sensitive and is the default email address for your account as well. If you already have email addresses assigned to you by an institution, then those will still continue to be delivered to your new inbox.

Student ID

Students receive their student ID from the Admissions office once they have completed an admissions application. If you need your ID, you can ask your instructor or call the Admissions office at 251-578-1313 ext. 148.

 

Touchnet Payment Portal Instructions

Step One:

To access Touchnet Payment Portal, select MyRSTC on the home pages.    

Step Two:

Enter your Username: A#@rstc.edu Example: A01010101@rstc.edu

and your Password: !RSTCmmddyy  Example: !RSTC121314 (Birthday)

Step Three:
Click on Student in the Main Menu list.

Step Four:
Click on Student Account in the Student List.

Step Five:
Click on Touchnet in the Student Account List.

Step Six:
Complete the Consents and Agreement (Student Financial Services Agreement) to continue to Touchnet.

Once you have completed the Consents and Agreements, you can complete the required sections to view and make payments on your account.
